In the heart of Madhya Pradesh, the vibrant tradition of Baigani saris, worn with grace by the women of the Baiga tribe, unfolds a story of cultural richness and artisanal mastery. Crafted by the skilled hands of the weaver community, these saris, affectionately known as Soola Hath Saris or the Baigani sari, stand as a testament to the symbiotic relationship between tradition, artistry, and community.

Known affectionately as "soolah hath saris, सुलाह हाथ" these pieces reflect the unique essence of the Baiga community. The colour palette is predominantly white and red stripes and checks form the foundation of the design. Beyond the saris, we drew inspiration from the distinctive accessories adorning the Baiga women – the headgear and necklaces that serve as cultural markers, each piece telling a unique story of identity and tradition. There are additional colours as accents, infusing the saris with a burst of energy. These hues serve as silent storytellers.

Our collection, born from this deep well of inspiration, seeks to amplify the unique narrative of the Baiga tribe and the weaver community that lovingly crafts these saris. Each sari is a testament to the interplay between tradition and innovation, as we strive to capture the essence of the Baigani sari while paying homage to the skilled hands that bring these tales to life. Through our designs, we aim to celebrate the enduring spirit of the Baiga tribe and contribute to the continuity of this cherished weaving tradition.

This collection is developed in cotton counts of 2/40's and 10's.
